The Park Volunteers program organized by the Lake Forest Park Stewardship Foundation successfully concluded its first season of work parties with groups in all four parks on Friday September 23, 2011.

Volunteers finished the year with a picnic on Sunday Sept. 25, as a "thank you" and to celebrate a job well done.

For the future, the LFP Rotary is taking over Blue Heron park and will carry on the work there.
