The Tuesday Quick-Start Shoreline Business Workshop for start-up, existing or potential business owners will be held on May 3 from 12 noon to 1:30 pm at Shoreline City Hall, 17500 Midvale Ave N.

Workshop Title: Sales and Marketing: Time Tested Best Practices.

Building and maintaining a business is grueling at best, but following a few simple strategies will bring success to the only two things that matter: getting and keeping customers.

Workshop Leader: Jonathan Bingham

Bio: Shoreline native, Shorewood Class of '92, volunteer service mission to Japan '93-'95, earned my AA in '97, BA in Construction Management in 2001. Worked in Project Management for 8+ years on commercial projects ranging from $120k tenant improvements to $30M schools to the $100M+ IMF HQ project in DC. After many years working for someone else and helping build their businesses, I finally took the advice of a mentor from my youth who told me to "go to school, get good grades, then go into business for yourself."
