Shorewood girls took 1-5 Wesco 3A record into Wednesday game at Meadowdale after Friday loss to league-leading Lynnwood

The Shorewood girls’ basketball team took a 1-5 Wesco 3A record (2-10 overall) into its Wednesday game at Meadowdale after a 79-42 loss to Lynnwood Friday, Jan. 7.

In the 79-42 loss to league-leading Lynnwood, Shorewood fell behind 39-24 at halftime and 61-36 after three quarters, and fell further behind in the final period. Lisa Echert led the Thunderbirds with 12 points. Jennifer Franklin added 10.
