The Shoreline City Council study session of Monday, January 3, has four items on the agenda:

(a) Ordinance No. 594 Repealing the Requirements to Underground Overhead Utilities by May 21, 2011 and to Underground All New Facilities and Additions and Rebuilds of Existing Facilities and Adding a Requirement that Capital Projects Pay for Costs of Undergrounding Service Connections

(b) King County Solid Waste Interlocal Agreement

(c) Continued Discussion of the City’s Compensation Program

(d) Agenda and Scope for January 18 Council Meeting for Council direction on Goals, Scope and Format of Comprehensive Plan Update

Meetings are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, N 175th and Midvale Ave N, beginning at 7 pm with flag salute, city manager's report, council reports, and public comment.   Study sessions are somewhat informal, with Council members sitting around a table on the floor of the Chambers.

The public can attend the meetings in person. If you have a newer computer, you can see the meetings live on your computer, or watch them on video after the meeting. If you have a Mac, you will need to download a free program called Flip4Mac.  They are broadcast on Cable Channel 21 beginning Tuesdays at noon and 8 pm.

Information about meetings, submitting comments, watching past meetings, etc. at this City webpage.
