SC boys take 5-3 Wesco 3A record into Tuesday game at Lynnwood

The Shorecrest boys’ basketball team takes a 5-3 Wesco 3A record (8-6 overall) into a Tuesday game at Lynnwood after a Friday home loss to league-leading Glacier Peak.

The Scots and Lynnwood (1-8 Wesco 3A, 2-13 overall) meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

In the 70-65 loss to Glacier Peak (8-0, 12-3) Friday, Shorecrest was tied with Glacier Peak after each of the first two quarters before the Grizzlies outscored the Scots 26-17 in the third. Shorecrest had balanced scoring, with Ryan Canfield leading the way with 14 points, Keith Shattuck scoring 13, Trevor McCoy having 11 and Junior Chibuogwu returning from a two-game absence with 9.
