By Diane Hettrick - Categories are mine - reports are from the police - who could make this stuff up?

Full moon, November 21
11-22...40xx NE 197, adult family home. Staff reports that two male residents have come to blows over a video game and stealing food. One is spitting. They stop fighting before police arrive, but one threatens the staffperson. Police arrest that person; he is released on his recognizance.

11-26...185xx 32 Pl NE. Male in alcohol withdrawal is hallucinating and violent. Police calmed him and transported him to Harborview.
11-28...192xx FP Dr. Mother tried to drop off children with father on non-scheduled date. He didn't want to open the door to her, afraid of a confrontation. Cops called her and she yelled at them. Cops told father he could ask Mountlake Terrace police to do a welfare check on the children.

If we live long enough, this will be us
11-22...Towne Centre. Witness saw elderly woman back her car into victim's vehicle at slow speed - twice. Between hits, she opened her door to look. She drove off. Police identified her and brought her back to the scene. She admitted all and said she didn't know who to contact and didn't think to leave a note. Provided her insurance information.
11-24...187xx 37 NE. Resident reported that she came home after three months in nursing home and her house had been ransacked. Boxes had been moved, cars had been moved. Police saw no evidence of this, in fact, a layer of dust and cobwebs indicated that nothing had been moved for some time. Talked to family member who said that woman had been getting more and more confused and they were trying to get her into assisted living.

After all, consider the alternative

Technology can be a challenge

It snowed this week

Neighbors from Hell

Proof that LFP is upscale - everywhere else they steal beer

Shall we talk about parenting?
11-24...155xx 33 NE. Mother asked for welfare check on son. Hasn't heard from him for a week. No one was home but footsteps in the snow led to a spot where a vehicle had been parked.
11-25...45xx NE 170. 911. Report of teenager threatening to take pill overdose. Police investigated and found that he had, but they were vitamins. Teen fighting with parents over texting and going to family Thanksgiving dinner.
11-26...32xx NE 198. Housesitter found owner's son in house. He is not supposed to be there. He forced the back door and has been sleeping on couch.

Or perceptions?
11-25...36xx NE 155. Call about a disturbance and report that a child was being pulled out of a car. Police found a large family group leaving in three cars. No fighting or yelling.

Or relationships?
11-26...162xx 36 NE. Wife went for a walk mid-afternoon and didn't come back. She returned a couple of hours later and caught a bus, headed for her residence in Seattle.

Not sure what happened here

Blame the dog... or the furnace

11-26...30xx NE 178. Alarm. Possibly set off by dog.
11-27...175xx 47. House alarm going off intermittently. Fire was dispatched because the smoke detector is also going off. Faulty furnace to blame.
