North Seattle French School moving to Shoreline

Have you ever considered bilingual education for your child?

This fall, North Seattle French School is moving to a new, larger location in Shoreline and is still accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year!

North Seattle French School (NSFS), an independent preschool and elementary school, offers an engaged community, small class sizes, instruction by native speakers, and a focus on social-emotional learning in a bilingual environment.

We believe that learning another language helps foster capable, independent thinkers who will contribute as global citizens of the future.

NSFS is excited to embark on this new phase of growth and development in our new space. The new location significantly increases the school’s classroom space and enables NSFS to continue to grow and thrive in coming years. This new space will also enable the school to accomplish a long-held goal: expanding from offering half-day to full-day preschool.

The new campus shares a site with the Shoreline Center and the Spartan Recreation Center. Amenities include access to a large play field, indoor recreation in the adjacent gym, and potentially the Shoreline pool. Situated between I-5 and Aurora, the campus is well-positioned for students and families coming from both North Seattle and northern suburbs.

“Our students and staff are very much looking forward to settling into the new space and especially to bringing our preschool and elementary together under one roof. So many great opportunities to come!” said Elodie Le Nezet, NSFS Interim Head of School.

With this larger space facilitating continued growth, NSFS is still accepting applications for preschool through 5th grade for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. No French language experience is needed for students entering preschool or kindergarten.
