Ishtar needs a forever home

UPDATE: Ishtar has been adopted! She now has an owner, a pillow to sleep on, someone to pet her and to answer when she talks!

Ishtar is a beauty with unusual black and gray muted stripes. In spite of being a favorite of the shelter staff, she has not been good at selling herself to adoptive families and sadly, has been overlooked.

"The best part of the day is bedtime, because that's when I get to cuddle up next to my human! It's lonely sleeping all by myself with nobody to call me their special kitty .... Maybe your pillow has room for a friendly kitty like me?"

12 year old Ishtar is a sweet, talkative girl with gorgeous smokey fur. Her favorite activities are lounging and rolling over for pets.

Ishtar is waiting for you at Seattle Area Feline Rescue, 14717 Aurora Ave N, Shoreline 98133.

I'm a volunteer. Ishtar has the sweetest little squeaky voice. and she loves to talk to you. Go in and visit her and see for yourself! She would be such a loving sweet lap cat.
