Shoreline Area News has lost power

The Shoreline Area News office has lost power due to the wind storm this evening. There are multiple power outages scattered through out the area as a result of the storm with wind gusts up to 52 MPH already. There are currently over 6,100 Seattle City Light customers without power in the Shoreline and Lake Forest Park area. The Seattle City Light outages map shows a good portion of the outages.


Stay safe out there, regular news will resume once power is restored.
