SCC Students say "Donate to the Food Bank!"

The African Club was at Richmond Beach QFC. The Student Leadership Center was at Aurora Safeway, and individual volunteers were at Central Market. All were collecting for the HopeLink food bank.

January 21, 2013 was the celebration of Martin Luther King Jr's birthday and for the fourth year, Shoreline Community College students volunteered to stand in front of local grocery stores and ask customers to donate to the food banks.

This group collected over a thousand pounds of food for HopeLink

Almost 3,700 pounds of food went to HopeLink when the drive was done. Altogether the students collected almost 13,000 pounds of food at ten different locations.
