Glacier Peak came into Shorewood's gym Thursday night and handed the Thuderbirds a rough 48-21 defeat.

The Grizzlies began the match with a pin from Daniel Bastian at 152lbs and never looked back. It was a 21-0 lead before senior Konnor Carpenter finally won a match for Shorewood, a second round pin at 195lbs. Peak then scored the next 27 points to lead 48-6 before Shorewood finished the match by winning the last four matches. The marque match-up of the night came at 132lbs, with Glacier Peak's John Kim, ranked #4 at 126lbs for 3A, challenging two-time reigning league champion Matthew Floresca, ranked the #1 126lb wrestler in entire state, all classifications.
