Local ballot return slightly slower than countywide rate

Saturday, November 3, 2012

Shoreline area voters continue to return ballots at a rate close to, but slightly below, the King County average.

As of 8pm Wednesday, 33.51 percent of Shoreline City voters had returned their ballots compared to the countywide average of 34.59 percent.

Ballots must be postmarked by Tuesday in order to count - and must be signed on the back.

Lake Forest Park has a drop box for ballots outside the City Hall building on the lower level of Town Center.
