Shorewood softball team takes 0-1 record into Thursday home game with Snohomish after 3-1 home loss to Marysville-Pilchuck Tuesday

The Shorewood softball team takes a 0-1 record into a home game with 4A Snohomish Thursday at 6 p.m. at Meridian Park School after 3A Shorewood lost a 3-1 home game to 4A Marysville-Pilchuck Tuesday.

Shorewood took a 1-0 lead when Dani Norsby hit a home run in the first inning, but Marysville-Pilchuck shut out the Thunderbirds the rest of the way. The Tomahawks tied the game with a run in the fifth inning and took the lead with two runs in the seventh.

The Shorewood junior varsity plays Snohomish at 4 p.m. Thursday at Meridian Park after a 9-9 tie with Marysville-Pilchuck at Meridian Park Tuesday,

Scheduled games at Lake Stevens were postponed from Monday, March 12 to Monday, March 19.
