Power restored to all areas in Shoreline by 4:30 pm Wednesday

Repair crews restored power about 4:30 p.m. today to the last customers affected by an outage in Shoreline that started about 9:40 a.m. when A tree that fell into power lines near Dayton Place N. and Dayton Avenue N.

The outage initially affected 3,100 homes and businesses. Crews isolated the damage to restore many of those customers earlier in the day.

The original boundaries of the outage were N 205th Street on the north; N 152nd Street on the south; Aurora Ave N on the east; and 14th Ave NW on the west. Not all customers in those boundaries were affected.

Seattle City Light is the 10th largest public electric utility in the United States.
