King’s girls meet Granger Friday in State tournament elimination game after losing quarterfinal to Freeman

The King’s High School girls’ basketball team plays Granger in a State 1A tournament elimination game Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Yakima SunDome after losing to defending champion Freeman in a quarterfinal game Thursday

The winner of the King’s-Granger game plays Saturday against the winner of another Friday morning game between Seattle Christian and Connell. The Saturday game will be for fourth and sixth places.

King’s lost to Freeman 45-19 Thursday, falling behind in the first quarter and falling further behind in each period. Joclyn Kirton led the Knights with 11 points.
