On January 25, 2011, Tony Lee plead guilty in King County Superior Court to multiple counts of Malicious Mischief in the 2nd degree. As part of his plea, he agreed to be sentenced to 9 months’ confinement, with 30 days converted to community service for the purpose of scrubbing graffiti, and to pay restitution to all of the charged and uncharged victims in King and Snohomish County.

Formal sentencing for Lee is scheduled to occur Friday, February 25.

Lee is the adult who was caught, along with a dozen juveniles, in a rash of graffiti damage in Shoreline last year. He usually included the word KIDD in his tagging.  He hit private property, as well as Parks and School District property. It is estimated that clean up costs from damage done by Lee and the juveniles ran close to $50,000.

So glad they caught this person. They should make him clean up every bit of graffiti throughout Shoreline...

It would be nice if they got the idiot painting "KY" all over Greenwood next.

Perhaps the City of Shoreline would benefit by creating a "free wall" for graffiti artists to feature their art, rather than having to find illicit locations throughout the city.

Right- unless they have a "free wall" for their art- they just CAN'T POSSIBLY help themselves and are ThruST into a life of CRIMINAL ACTIVITY!

Good Greif..
I LOVE some graffiti art- but, the idea that they better have a "free wall" or they're just bound to tag private and public property is absurd- AND, an insult to the actual ARTISTS who paint legally.

welcome to the city. if you are looking for a sterilized and bleak landscape bellevue is across the bridge.

The city of Shoreline was not his only location. His "tags" appeared in Edmonds, MLT and Seattle. He cost far more that Shoreline's amount to those cities and the various business owners.
