In 1981 the “Great Singing Telegram Depression” hit San Francisco and two out of work singers decided to find two other voices to add to the mix and take their act on the road. Since then they have been nominated for a Grammy, toured the world over and won countless awards. Please join us as the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council welcomes the unique a cappella group The Bobs. If there is a single group that really helped jump start the a cappella movement – as ­well as give new perception to the genre – it is The Bobs. Using self-deprecating humor – and with tongues planted firmly in cheeks – The Bobs have been packing venues for more than two decades with programs that feature clever cover songs and a wealth of outrageous originals.
