King’s Senior Michael Hayes has been named a finalist in the Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) Annual $10,000 Scholarship.

To quality for this scholarship students were required to submit a 90 second video that highlighted the benefits provided by the BBB for educating consumers in avoiding fraudulent schemes.

Michael chose to use animation as his video medium because of the unique capabilities that this medium provides. Although animation has been utilized for many years in movies and professional videos, it is just now becoming a popular medium for the every day student thanks to online classes and inexpensive computer programs such as Blender.
