Shorewood boys in three-way tie for Wesco 3A South basketball lead

The Shorewood boys' basketball team takes a three-way tie for first in the Western Conference 3A South into a Tuesday game at Oak Harbor after a Tuesday home victory over Everett

Shorewood, Glacier Peak and Mountlake Terrace all have 4-1 Wesco 3A records.

Oak Harbor has a 3-2 Wesco 3A record for second in the Wesco 3A North behind Stanwood's 5-0 record

The Thunderbirds and Oak Harbor meet at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Harbor High School, with junior-varsity and C-team games scheduled for 5:40.

Shorewood defeated Everett, 55-39, Friday. Josh Hawkinson scored 21 points for Shorewood.

The Thunderbirds have a 9-3 overall record. Hawkinson leads the T-birds for the season with 188 points in 10 games for an average of 18.8 points per game.
