Dick's Drive-Ins offer free burgers to veterans on Veterans' Day

Dick Spady, 87 year old founder of the Dick's Drive-In chain, was in the Navy in World War II and the Air Force during the Korean War. His wife was in the Navy when they met, so they have a strong connection to veterans.

From 10:30 am until closing on Thursday, November 11, all veterans and active duty military members who can show any form of military identification or wear their military uniform, will receive a free hamburger or cheeseburger at any of the five Dick's Drive-in restaurants.

The closest one to Shoreline and Lake Forest Park is just off Lake City Way, at 12325 30th Ave NE, Seattle 98125, 206-363-7777.

For any veteran who can still get in their uniform - send us a picture. We'd love to post it. If you have a picture of yourself in uniform, no matter what year, send it to us at Editor@ShorelineAreaNews.com
