No April elections here

Sunday, April 17, 2016

By Evan Smith

April 26 will be Election Day for many cities, school districts and other government entities around Washington, but not in Shoreline or Lake Forest Park.

That’s because no entity in the area had anything to put on the ballot.

The King County elections office has mailed ballots for propositions in one city, four school districts and five special-purpose districts around the county.

Elections officials will mail ballots May 5 for the May 24 presidential primary to voters registered by April 25.
