The Tuesday Quick-Start Shoreline Business Workshop for start-up, existing or potential business owners will be held on April 5th from 12 noon to 1:30 pm at Shoreline City Hall, 17500 Midvale Avenue N.

Quick-Start Shoreline is presented by Shoreline Community College Small Business Accelerator and the City of Shoreline. The sessions are free and open to the public; feel free to bring a brown bag lunch or a snack.  For more information, contact Mark McVeety, Director, Small Business Accelerator.

David's printing and marketing solutions experience is extensive. He managed the print production of Reader's Digest for a Rand McNally print plant in Mexico City.
Represented and was sales manager for a variety of NW printing and pre-press companies. Clients included ad agencies, graphic designers and corporations. A few would be Cole and Weber, Elgin Syferd, John Hornall Design, Image Ink Studios, Esterline, Boeing, Fluke, ASMI and Intermec. Took some time away from the printing industry, restructuring a private label, repackaging company, consulting for a national herbal company and being the director of sales for a data center.

Started dberkeyGroup to utilize past sales experience and vendor contacts to to create print communication solutions. e.g. management of the Pacific Science Center's outreach project based on PBS's "Origins" 4-part TV series. It involved balancing creative, graphic design, content input from a variety of client managers, teachers and scientists to be put into one voice and brand, producing displays, manuals, various teaching aides, CD/DVD covers and disk replication,

Currently, dberkeygroup has added a multi-channel marketing program to deliver above average results for target marketing campaigns. This program delivers measurable results, permitting clients to track their marketing results in real time.

Specialties: Vendor relations, employee relations, customer relations, graphic design communications, applying new technologies to marketing efforts, whether that means use of digital or offset presses or prepress software to create digital libraries. Currently, I can help clients produce banners, brochures, annual reports, direct mail packages, CD wraps, manuals, binders.
