Thursday, December 10, 2009

Pink Polka Dot Guild members will be selling handmade and custom printed art cards at the Winter Farmers' Market on Sunday, December 13, from 11 am to 4 pm at Third Place Commons in Lake Forest Park.

The Guild was started by Kelsey Josund, Maddy Berkman, and Sierra Alef in 2006, when they lost their friend Sydney Coxon to a brain tumor at the age of eleven. Now in their mid-teens, the girls have raised over $100,000 to benefit the research of of Dr. Jim Olson through Seattle Children’s and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
