Shaking Up Shoreline: Sip Mobile Bartending Brings the Bar and the Hospitality to You
A new Shoreline business is getting ready to roll, bringing restaurant-quality beverage service directly to celebrations throughout the region. Sip Mobile Bartending launched in August 2026 with a vision that goes beyond simply serving drinks. After 17 years of calling Shoreline home, owners Robb and Sarah are channeling their hospitality experience into a mobile bar built around attentive service and exceptional beverages. From private parties and backyard celebrations to corporate events, Sip plans to bring a little of Seattle's restaurant and cocktail culture wherever the party happens.
Q & A with Sip Mobile Bartending owners Robb and Sarah
Q: How long have you been in business?
A: We are a startup launching in mid-August 2026.
Q: What inspired you to start your business?
A: The desire to bring restaurant quality hospitality and quality beverage service to King, Snohomish, and Island Counties
Q: What service does your business provide for our community?
A: Alcoholic, non-alcoholic, and eventually coffee service to those in demand.
Q: What do you love the most about Shoreline?
A: The parks, people, the wide variety of food and sense of community.
Q: Why is your business based in Shoreline?
A: Sarah and I have lived in Shoreline for 17 years, after years of trying to bring a Seattle style dining restaurant and not succeeding, we believed the Mobile Bar Service was the best way to get started.
Q: What’s one thing you wish your customers knew about you but never ask?
A: That we care about the hospitality and service to our guests, not about our own sense of "Look at us self involvement".
Q: What’s inspires you each day?
A: Keeping alive guest first service and sustaining Seattle methodology of cocktail production.
Q: What has been your proudest moment in business so far?
A: Getting funding, and hearing the exciting response from people inside and outside of our immediate community.
Q: How do you approach customer service, and what sets you apart?
A: Listening to the client's needs, being honest with what services we provide, and referring the client to another vendor if need be.
Q: What advice would you give to someone starting a business in Shoreline?
A: Meet with your fellow residents, meet with those in city hall, and speak in front of City Council so that they know the challenges that prospective small businesses face.
Q: How does your business support or give back to the local community?
A: In the future I hope to employ local residents, especially younger people who need to learn a trade that will help them support themselves when they go to college, work on being in the trades, or take the time to decide what they want to do professionally.
Q: If you could change one thing about Shoreline, what would it be?
A: Put a proper restaurant in Shoreline Place!
Q: What future plans or goals do you have for your business?
A: Expand to a second beverage vehicle and eventually a brick and mortar restaurant bar that would compete with any restaurant bar in Seattle or the Eastside.
Q: What’s your next upcoming event?
A: Hopefully an introduction launch at a private property in Shoreline where we can test out our new bar truck, provide beverages free or at near free of charge, and use the event as a photo shoot by GoDaddy in order to have non-stock photos on our website and social media. Of course all guests will receive a waiver acknowledging their consent.
Q: What can Sip bring to your next event, private, corporate, or backyard celebration?
A: We will bring you honesty, and transparency in how we can provide you with a experience of hospitality and grace for you and your guest.
