Work progressing on Ballinger Way roundabout

As promised, work began on the 40th Pl NE & Ballinger Way / SR 104 roundabout on August 3, 2026. 

As of August 16, the trees have been cleared on the corners.

The center island has been removed and the orange vinyl fencing installed.

The roundabout is a project of the City of Lake Forest Park. This new roundabout will include a single-lane roundabout, new sidewalks, shared-use pathways, four pedestrian crossings with refuge islands, and improved street lighting.

Next week the contractors will begin work on the water mains.
