Faber Construction to remodel Aldercrest elementary this summer

The end of school has meant the start of work by Faber Construction, which has contracts for four major school projects in Puget Sound.

One of those projects is the modernization of the Aldercrest Campus in the Shoreline School District, a $3.4 million project that will allow the District to reopen the elementary school in September.

Estimated construction dates are June 15 – September 15, 2016 for school renovation, sitework, and landscaping. Work includes but is not limited to modifications and reopening of elementary school.

When complete, the school will house the Home Education Exchange (currently at North City) and Cascade K-8 (currently at Meridian Park).

The school is located at 2800 NE 200th St, Shoreline, 98155.

Providing Western Washington with quality commercial buildings and site work since 1987, Lynden-based Faber Construction has 85 employees and the versatility to handle projects ranging from $25,000 to $15 million. The Shoreline project will be run from Faber's Woodinville office.

  1. Cascade K-8 back to the school that was remodeled for them when they were Room 9, then kicked out after one year and moved back to Meridian Park. Sheesh. Your tax dollars at work.

  2. Those remodeling dollars from before will still be useful... Don't worry :) A lot of the current remodel is things like new floors, add a playground (that never was put in before), put in a parking lot that's all cracked up (so not done in years, not redoing previous work) that kind of thing.
