Update to Council dates for subarea consideration

185th Subarea: discussion on February 23 at 6:30pm, final decision on March 16

The adoption of the 185th Street Station Subarea Package by the Shoreline City Council has been moved to March 16, 2015.

Adoption had been scheduled for February 23. However, in order to further analyze the proposed changes to the zoning map discussed at their February 9 meeting, Council has decided to continue its discussion on February 23 and make a final decision on March 16.

The meeting on February 23 is still scheduled to begin at 6:30pm. The staff report has been updated for the Discussion of Ordinance Nos. 702, 706, and 707 – 185th Light Rail Station Sub-Area Plan, Development Regulations and Planned Action.


145th Subarea: Council is scheduled to review the Planning Commission's recommendation on March 23.

The Planning Commission, at their February 19th meeting, voted to table the rezone of 145th until the completion of the 145th St corridor study. The Council is not bound by the recommendations of the Planning Commission.
