Regular attendees at the "Social Justice Sundays" sign-waving at the Shoreline-Edmonds line this weekend will be riding a wave of optimism as they head to the Aurora Avenue North/Hwy 99 and N. 205th St. intersection.
But while the Nov. 3 midterm election resulted in a historic blue wave across the country, there is still much to be done to achieve the course change and accountability called for by voters.
With that in mind, sign-waving continues this Sunday, Nov. 8, 1-2 p.m. All are welcome to join in - bring a sign or borrow one - and stand up for the people, places and principles important to you.
As always, non-perishable food, toiletries, and school supplies will be accepted for donation to an organization assisting those in need.
