The Stormrays ended the season 9-3-0, the league runner-up, with an RPI of 0.8812.
Accolades and hats off to the Shorecrest Scots, 9-1-2, the league champions, with an RPI of 0.9797.
Following the conclusion of the regular season, the District 1 3A playoff brackets have been set, against teams from Wesco 3A North and the Northwest 3A Conference. The top four seeds receive a bye, while the remaining eight seeds face off in a play-in round to advance.
League runner-up Shorewood is seeded #5, and will play #12 Mount Vernon in the eighth-final on Thursday 10/29, for the right to face #4 Snohomish in the quarter-final on Sat 10/31.
League champion Shorecrest is seeded #3, and will play either #7 Meadowdale or #9 Oak Harbor in another quarter-final on Sat 10/31. The other top seeds are #1 Ferndale and #2 Stanwood.
The play-in and quarter-final rounds will be hosted by the higher seed at their home stadium, while the semi-finals and finals will be held at Shoreline Stadium, with both finalists qualifying for State.
The losing quarter-finalists and semi-finalists will enter a lucky loser’s bracket, where three teams will emerge in 3rd, 4th and 5th place, and all three will qualify for State.
