IEUM Korean School officially opened its doors on September 11 and 12, 2026 marking a meaningful first step in providing high-quality Korean language and cultural education for next-generation Korean Americans.
To celebrate the opening, participants gathered to share baekseolgi (traditional Korean white rice cakes), wishing for the school’s vibrant start and healthy growth. The event served as a heartfelt occasion where students, parents, teachers, and community members reaffirmed their commitment to building a warm, supportive educational community—firmly connected under the spirit of "IEUM" (meaning "connection").

A major highlight of IEUM Korean School is its exceptional teaching staff. The faculty consists of six lead teachers holding master’s and doctoral degrees, as well as former elementary school educators from South Korea, supported by eight teaching assistants.
Together, they bring extensive field experience and academic rigor to the classroom. This semester, approximately 40 students enrolled across a diverse range of offerings, including Friday classes, Saturday classes, adult courses, and online programs.
The inaugural days were filled with enthusiasm as numerous parents attended to extend their congratulations and support. While a few students were unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts, the atmosphere inside and outside the classrooms was charged with celebration and excitement.
