I appreciate a yellow sun and a bit of blue sky at sunset because it means that the air is probably safe to breath.
I'm still traumatized by the year we got wildfire smoke from Oregon, eastern Washington, and Canada - all at the same time.
This view wouldn't have shown mountains, water, or anything but a thick cloud of smoke.
