Death at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park August 19, 2026

A reader reported Fire/Aid, heavy police activity, and the coroner at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park around 7:30pm on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

Sadly, they were responding to a suicide in the park. A 49 year old Shoreline woman had hung herself just inside the park entrance, by the artist cottage at 2021 NW 190th St, Shoreline 98177.

Investigation Agency: King County Sheriff (Shoreline).

      She was the sweetest person. She will be sorely missed by all the people lives she touched. My thoughts and sympathies go out to you and the family. Rest in peace Ells.

    All the photos are from the beach. NOT near the entrance or cottage. Either you are wrong or there was TWO bodies that day.

    I saw videos from the lower beach level. Was the source incorrect or was there two bodies?

    Then it was probably the beach and the medical examiner's office just listed the only place in the park that had an address.
