Oddball tree

I don't think that "oddball tree" is the scientific name for this tree that caught the eye of photographer Mike Remarcke, but it will do as well as any.

If you can identify the tree, please do. Or perhaps you have a better name for it.

It is one of the treasures at Kruckeberg Botanic Garden.
