I was considering soliciting photos and information about readers' favorite trees - and I still might - but apparently the inspiration and trend is toward Odd Trees.
So here is today's Odd Tree.
Seattle Poppy found it in Hamlin Park (there are many secrets deep in the forest).

Just curious why they don't thin the smaller trees in Hamlin Park so the bigger trees can grow bigger?
