The US Naval salvage/rescue ship, Grasp T-ARS-51 sailed out shortly after noon today.

Close behind her wake was a larger US Navy ship. I could not see a number on her hulk, and this ship did not present on the Marine Traffic application.
I guess there are some things we are not supposed to know.

  1. Grasp is towing the ship behind her. Probably a decommissioned ship. Could be to scrap or target practice.

  2. The Grasp appears to be towing the second ship. if you look carefully, you can see a line connecting them.

    1. It's an Oliver Perry class Frigate. Decomm'ed, destined for scrap, foreign service, or target practice.
