When I challenged readers to identify the subject of the photo of fractal forms by Frank Kleyn, I was really hoping it was more of a challenge than it turned out to be.

Where are the suggestions of sea life, alien life forms, details from psychedelic art?

Instead everyone either got it spot on or came really, really close.

It is a close-up of Romanesco broccoli for sale at Central Market

Only a couple of people have actually eaten it. One person loved it and the others were less enthusiastic.
