Clava Gringa entertains a crowd at Animal Acres

Photos by Jerry Pickard

Wednesday, August 8, 2018 was clear and hot and the smoke from the southern fires made for a fiery sunset. Clave Gringa was right on with their warm Cuban music.

Over 200 people relaxed in Animal Acres park and listened to the music.

Some were inspired to get up and dance.

Shoreline Arts Council, sponsor of the event, handed out summer concert schedules.

Aegis Living gave flavored water to help concert-goers stay hydrated in the heat.

  1. You can tell you're in the Pacific Northwest when a band is playing lively music and the audience sits - quietly. I don't understand how people can listen to great music and not even tap their toes!!
