Pop-up pianos are back in Shoreline

For the 7th year of its artist street-piano program, Shoreline returns work by:
  • Marsha Lippert,
  • Jennifer Carroll,
  • Cynthia Knox,
  • Kelly Lyles,
  • Joe Brooks,
  • Megan Reisinger, and
  • Heather Carr.

Ed and Jon Ann Cruver found one of the pianos at Central Market and Ed immediately sat down to try one out.

"We always have fun running around town trying them out," said Jon Ann. "My husband plays, I take his photo!"

  1. Thanks so much for the piano's available to all who have the inherent desire to play piano.

However, I play and feel and hear that that very tired old piano at the Richmond Beach Library is just too worn out with no skin left on the keys at all. There is no skin on the keys at all and down to wood. Not a good experience for children and other beginners to learn from.

Previous years of good old pianos at the Richmond Beach library were of a better quality.

    Thank You
