LFP COW to discuss safe injection sites Monday

The Lake Forest Park Committee of the Whole meets Monday, June 25, 2018 at 6pm in the City Hall Council Chamber, 17425 Ballinger Way NE.

Consultants Fehr and Peers will make a presentation of Safe Highways / Safe Streets / Town Center Connections Initiative Coordination.

The COW will have a discussion of siting illegal substance injection facilities within Lake Forest Park.

    Firstly, how many residents in Lake Forest Park are herion addicts? Do we have enough to justify this facility? Can we put this money toward the schools instead?

    I noticed that the agenda item is titled "discussion of SITING illegal substance injection sites", rather then "discussion of BANNING illegal substance injection sites". Small change of wording but is enough to cause concern.

    I urge those opposed to this attend Monday's meeting.
