Shoreline College presents 2018 Opera Workshop

Shoreline Community College Musical Theater and Opera program proudly presents Opera Workshop 2018, featuring stories and music about Washingtonians.

Highlighting the workshop is a world premiere by Seattle composer Bruce Monroe. His delightful one-act opera, Command Performance was written especially for this workshop program, and is supported by a Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council Community Project Award.

Also included on the program is The Quartet, by well-known Seattle composer Bern Herbolsheimer, and scenes from The Golden Apple (music by Jerome Moross and libretto by John Latouche) set in Washington state.

Performances are February 23 and 24 at 7:30pm, and February 25 at 3pm in the Campus Theater (1600) of Shoreline Community College, 16101 Greenwood Ave N, Shoreline 98133.

Tickets are available online and at the door.
