Crime in Shoreline week ending 1-23-17 - shoplifting, mental health, and vehicle crime

Selected items from the Shoreline Police Blotter, week ending January 23, 2017

Shoplifting at Home Depot, Marshall's, Costco, Sears, Fred Meyer, Walgreens at 145th, Big 5.
Mental health - five transports to mental health facilities for breakdowns and suicide attempts, including one juvenile, and one where the son found his father bleeding from the wrist.
Vehicle crime - 3 vehicle thefts, 4 stolen vehicle recoveries, 3 license plates stolen / recovered, and 5 car prowls.

01-14  Prostitute at America's Best Value Inn arrested on warrants.
01-15  Victim reports being robbed at gunpoint at N 200th and Fremont by unknown suspect.
01-16  Graffiti spray painted on wall of Syre Elementary.
01-17  Property stolen from Y locker room.
01-17  Police catch suspect in possession of check stolen from mailbox.
01-17  Man contacted for welfare check, arrested for Trespass warrant.
01-18  Arrest made in burglary of O'Reilly Auto Parts.
01-18  Juveniles stealing alcohol from Costco to drink and sell.
01-18  Victim robbed on the street by three robbers 165th and 5th NE
01-18  Thief stole keys from locker at the Y and went through vehicle without taking anything.
01-20  Mailbox on post deliberately knocked over at 200th and Meridian.
01-20  Intoxicated driver sheared off telephone pole in the 16600 block of Dayton. Arrested for DUI.
01-20  Someone stole the display of lighters from the Chevron at 15510 Aurora.
01-21  Driver arrested for DUI after causing a collision at NE 200th and 24th Ave NE.
01-22  Suspicious person behind Office Max was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and burglary tools.
