A sports card and memorabilia show for collectors — hosted by collectors -- will be held in Shoreline Saturday and Sunday, November 5 and 6.

The show, hosted by the Washington State Sports Collectors' Association (WSSCA) will be held at Meridian Park Elementary School, 17077 Meridian Ave N, Shoreline 98133 and admission to the two-day event is $3 (children under 12 are admitted free). Parking is free.

The lure of the WSSCA show is the quirky cards a collector can find. As a West Coast venue, there are plenty of offbeat minor-league vintage cards with a Pacific Coast flavor.

And the prices are reasonable. "You’re not going to find a glass case with one layer of things exorbitantly priced,” Publicity chair Conor Donahue said.

Prices, availability of Northwest cards, and avid local collectors have continued the popularity of the twice-yearly shows.

“It’s the longest-running one in the world — unless there’s one in Yugoslavia or something,” Donahue joked.
