Four simultaneous exhibits at Shoreline City Hall

With 17 local artists spread across four differently-themed exhibitions, Shoreline’s City Hall will be transformed into an art museum beginning with a joint reception on Thursday, October 13, 2016, 5:00 – 7:00pm.
Chris Crites "Trotsky and Trotsky's Brain"

Russia, Mother Russia, guest-curated by Chris Crites, investigates perceptions of Russia during a politically sensitive time in the work of Monica Rochester, Tracy Boyd, Jess Bonin, Kate Vrijmoet, Juliet Shen, Kerstin Graudins, Christian French, Janet Galore, Chris Rollins, Rich Lehl, and Chris Crites.

It will be on view on through 4th floor through April 21, 2017 (M-F, 9:00-5:00 pm)

Eric Brown "Neon"
Toaster and Teslas, co-curated by Shoreline Lake Forest Park Arts Council and the City of Shoreline.

This exhibit focuses on the general theme of totemic items in our modern life, and the idea of identity through design, featuring the work of Brian Kern, Eric Brown, Fiona McCargo, and Michael Baran.

On view on the 3rd floor till December 12, 2016.
Mimi Sturman "Transmigration"


Rounding out the group exhibitions are two solo presentations by Shoreline artists, both reflecting on narrative:

Mimi Sturman: The Transmigration of Stinging Souls Returning to Roost in Halcyon on the 3rd floor and Sue Ellen Zhang: Integrated Expansion on the 2nd floor, both on view till December 12, 2016.
