Financial advisor David Aramaki
Worried about paying for your student’s college education?

On Wednesday, November 4 at 7:00pm in the Shorewood High School Library, hear Financial Advisor David Aramaki speak about strategies for your finances, college savings tools like 529s, the financial aid process, educational tax breaks, and other aspects of this major financial commitment.

If you have questions, email the organizers. This event is sponsored by After Shorewood, a committee of the Shorewood PTSA.

David Aramaki is a financial professional and a member of the Pacific Northwest Association for College Admissions Counseling. He speaks to area high schools and local media about college financing.

Shorewood High School is located at 17300 Fremont Avenue North. The library is accessible through the main entrance on 175th Street.

After Shorewood is a committee of parent volunteers offering support to families in the future search process. This event has been arranged in response to parent requests. We maintain a website, send a weekly email to Shorewood parent / guardians who opt in, and sponsor several events throughout the year, including:
  • a pizza lunch for current Shorewood students featuring recent graduates sharing about their first-term post-high school experiences;
  • a college athletics panel featuring Shorewood graduates involved in various levels of college sports;
  • a senior parents panel offering advice to parents of graduating students;
  • a series of summer workshops for rising seniors on college application essays.
