Photos: LFP Farmers Market opened Sunday

Plenty of fruit and vegetables
fresh from the fields

The Lake Forest Park Farmers' Market opened for the season on Mother's Day, May 10, with fresh vegetables and so much more.

Jerry Picard was there and shares these photos.

Beautiful, locally grown flowers have always been a feature of the market.

Several booths sold ready to eat food.

New this year - hand made caramels.

Locally caught fish - both fresh and smoked.

At least three buskers for opening day, including this young violinist.

And everyone's favorites, the alpacas.

The market is staged in the lower parking lot at Town Center, at the intersection of Ballinger and Bothell Way. Hours are 10am to 3pm, Sundays.
