Oak Harbor hosted Shorewood soccer on a beautiful sunny and windy day, Tuesday, April 14.
Shorewood had many chances with the wind on goal in the first half but Oak Harbor was equal to the task and first half ended 0-0.
In the 62nd minute Oak Harbor scored from just inside the box on a nice shot by number 3, JJ Mitchell. Then in the 76th minute Shorewood equalized on a pk by Marco Shiflette.
In the first overtime Emsud Kandzik shot and it was deflected by an Oak Harbor defender into the goal for a 2-1 win.
Isaac Whitaker was in goal for Shorewood, 5-1 in league and 6-2-2 overall. Jared Hoyt was goalie for Oak Harbor, 1-4-1 in league play.
