No injuries in runaway car accident

Laurel is pretty tough - this one stopped a car

Neighbors in Richmond Beach were more than startled Thursday when an elderly neighbor came down the hill, missed the brake, hit the gas, and ended up in a laurel hedge at the corner of 21st Pl and 21st Ave. There were no injuries.

Police and fire were quickly on the scene

  1. "when an elderly neighbor came down the hill." A driver hit the gas instead of the brake. You imply it was because of old age. Had the driver been a double-amputee or a dyslexic, would you have stated that?

  3. How about making the certain age 16!
