Now in its 45th year, the Opera Workshop is offered during Winter Quarter at Shoreline Community college and provides training and experience for singers wishing to explore the musical and dramatic world of opera literature.
SCC opera workshop auditions are open to the community as well as all SCC students.
Auditions are Wednesday, October 29, from 3 to 6pm in the SCC Campus Theater. Singers should come prepared to sing a memorized song or aria. A pianist will be provided.
The opera workshop class meets between 3:00-5:30pm beginning January 5, 2015, with performances February 20, 21, and 22. Opera productions are fully staged and accompanied by orchestra.
