Shorecrest girls soccer blanks Glacier Peak 3-0

The Shorecrest girls soccer team blanked Glacier Peak 3-0 Tuesday night at Shoreline Stadium.

Freshman Alexa Iacolucci scored the Scots' first goal from long range with 23 minutes to play in the first half.  With just over three minutes to play in the half, her corner kick found the foot of senior Sophia Flohr who put the ball past the Grizzlies netminder Bailey Anderson.

With just under four minutes to go in the game, sophomore Alex Murphy closed the scoring for Shorecrest with a blast from 20 yards out.

Frida Swensen was in net for the Scots.  Her diving save with under ten seconds to play was the closest GP came to a goal all night.

Next up for the Scots are the Oak Harbor Wildcats who the Scots will host this Thursday at 7:30.
