The Shorecrest softball team plays host to Lynnwood Friday after a 9-2 victory at Marysville-Getchell Thursday.
Shorecrest takes a 4-3 Western Conference 3A division record (7-3 overall) into the game with Lynnwood (5-1 Wesco 3A, 6-2 overall) at Shorecrest High School at 6 p.m. Friday.
In Shorecrest’s 9-2 victory over Marysville Getchell, Shorewood held a 9-0 lead before the Chargers scored two runs in the sixth inning. Callie Andersen hit 4 for 4 for the Scots. Teammate Anisa Gomez hit 2 for 3 with a home run. Amanda Eshelman also hit 2 for 3, with two RBI and a triple.
Shorecrest had lost at Mountlake Terrace, 5-2, Monday as Mountlake Terrace outhit the Scots 13-4.
The Scots lost to Meadowdale, 1-0, Tuesday.
